After getting settled in an apartment, we were quickly anxious to get out of it, so we took a day trip with our new friend Shabnam and her father to Koh Dach, Phnom Penh’s “Silk Island.”  This lovely lady wanted to know if we would like to buy a silk scarf. Her quiet smile threw a veil over our senses. We thought our skin was pretty thick from the constant haggling that had already become a way of life in Phnom Penh.  One look at this little lady and we knew it was hopeless to haggle.  Case closed for today, adorable wins.
